Thanks to the internet, the Association of Oregon Counties is able to communicate with its members and interested citizens in a timely fashion. Using e-mail, AOC staff can alert AOC members of pending legislation, issues, concerns and challenges that require their immediate attention. AOC also publishes a newsletter, Oregon Trails, every week that the Oregon Legislature is in session and at least once a month, if not more, when the Legislature is not in session. If you would like something to appear in Oregon Trails, please contact the AOC communications team.
AOC produces a County Guide every two years, listing every elected county commissioner and county judge along with other elected county officials by individual counties. The Guide also appears on our website and is updated when there are changes. The printed version is available by contacting the AOC office. It is usually ready around the first of March following an election.
AOC has a number of other publications available including the Shared Services Chart, a publication on Shared Revenues, Home Rule Structure and others.
